Itinerary For The Tour
Sunday - We travel to Yorkshire with a visit en route to the historic city of Lichfield, famous for its magnificent cathedral.
Monday - We begin our day with a visit to the famous village of Haworth, where the Bronte sisters wrote most of their novels. You will have free time to explore the olde worlde shops and perhaps visit the Bronte Parsonage. We then travel to the delightful town of Skipton on market day, where you will have free time to explore the cobbled streets and medieval castle.
Tuesday - Today we enjoy a visit to the historic walled riverside city of York, where you will have plenty of free time to explore at your leisure. Admire the stunning medieval Minster, browse the medieval shopping streets, or discover the city’s colourful history with a visit to one of the many museums.
Wednesday - Enjoy a lovely day exploring the glorious scenery of the Dales. We begin with a visit to the attractive town of Grassington then travel to the heart of Wensleydale to Hawes. Set amongst spectacular scenery Hawes is a traditional market town with a thriving cheese industry that Wallace and Gromit helped make famous. Narrow winding cobbled streets lead down to a market square with an array of shops, galleries and tearooms to explore. In the afternoon we enjoy a visit to the historic and beautiful cathedral city of Ripon.
Thursday - Before our journey home today we spend some time at leisure in the vibrant city of Leeds. Cultural capital of the North it is rich in heritage, with Victorian architecture, fascinating museums and extensive shopping opportunities.
